Tell our readers about Princess Boss?

TW: Princess Boss is a dress up party place for girls. It’s a place where girls can feel comfortable and express themselves with no restrictions.

AA: In this day and time we offer the community a really safe environment where girls can play without being in an environment filled with crime and gunfire. When you have a party at Princess Boss, it’s your party and your party alone. Princess Boss offers a safe environment for those looking for a safe haven for their girls to play.

How did Princess Boss come into existence?

TW: Princess Boss came into existence from a question we asked our daughter. We got the idea from my wife and one of her friends, Echo. Once we talked about the idea, we put the ideas together and asked our daughter, what do you think we should call the place? The first thing that came out of her mouth was Princess Boss and it sounded good as soon as she said it and that’s exactly what we went with.

On your site www.princessboss.com, you promote play days. What are play days?

TW: Play Day is a day for those who did not want to have a private party to actually get their children exposed to what we have to offer. The Play Day is one of the days that is actually a public day. It gives the parents the chance to see what we have to offer and decide what we have to offer.

AA: Children get to participate in the manicure, pedicure, and make-up station. They get play dress up, play in our play area and get a snack.

What impact do you see Princess Boss making now and in the future?

TW: The greatest impact that Princess Boss is having right now is that the young girls have a skewed view as to how women should dress and how they portrait themselves in the public.  We want to give them an image that is more proper to what a young lady should envision herself to wear act and present herself and by her dressing up with her girlfriends in a more dignified way leaves a lasting impression on their mind for today and tomorrow.

AA: In the future we are opening our location for young girls in homeless shelters in December. It is our way of giving back to the community for those girls who may not have the opportunity to come to Princess Boss. We are also conducting a prom dress giveaway next March for needy children that are need for dresses for their prom.

TW: Our business is so unique. It gives us a chance to couple with other organizations that are doing things for young girls like the girl scouts and other organizations that are teaching young girls etiquette.

What is the importance of PB to the community?

TW: Statistics in grammar and high school indicate signs of molestation and an increase in lesbianism. A lot more girls are in gangs. PB provides etiquette training work to reverse the aggressive behavior in our girls.

Upcoming Events?

AA: We are having a holloween party on Oct. 31st from  2-5 pm for girls and boys. In November we are holding etiquette classes for boys and girls and in December we are having a play day for disadvantage children. Please check our website for more info at www.princessboss.com.
