Music Robin Aikens showed just how versatile she is by playing with popular R&B artist K-Jon during his performance in Chicago. Robin won 15 first place awards for violin performance (solo and group performances) for the Indiana State School Music Association (ISSMA).
One of his songs, entitled “This Time” starts off with a violin solo gave Robin a chance to shine. “I has such fun playing with K-Jon. I am so glad things went well. I look forward to hopefully, playing with him again soon,” said Aikens.
Robin Aikens has played in the Emerson Symphony Orchestra, and began playing professionally in The Gary Civic Symphony before graduating from high school. Robin has also played with four symphony orchestras, including the Purdue University Symphony Orchestra-1st violin section. She has also toured with Shadow Vignettes, an internationally acclaimed jazz band when she was 19 years old.

One of his songs, entitled “This Time” starts off with a violin solo which will give Robin a chance to shine. “I am glad that K-Jon has such a beautiful instrument included in his song and I look forward to showing people just how wonderful the violin sounds when played live,” said Aikens.
