HJ: Your latest CD is labeled "Kopestetik", tell our readers about your latest CD!
K: This is my second career album and I am really excited about it! I have something for everyone on it. This album was recorded in the studio with Nate Oberman who has engineered on projects by Snoop Dog, Biggie (Biggie Duets), R. Kelly, Pussycat Dolls, George Clinton and many more stars. So to have him be a part of my project was such a blessing. I also have him featured playing live guitar on my rock-based song "Holy Water". I also have collaborations from a few chicago based local artists such as R&B singer Rene' who has accomplished a lot in her career and has a beautiful voice. Also featured is Moesta (Hip-Hop) and Lepolion (R&B).
HJ: I went to one of your artist sites (www.reverbnation.com/kosha) to familiarize myself with your music. Due to dissatisfaction, I stop listening to hip hop, but this CD made me love hip hop again! Do you think this CD will bring back those true hip hop fans that left hip hop due to the lack of quality long ago?
K: I definitely believe that my album is a stepping stone to bringing original hip-hop fans back to hip-hop. I get that a lot! I have performed at many venues and events where the crowd hasn't always been that of the younger crowd. People in their 40's and beyond have come up to me and told me that they don't even listen to hip-hop but would definitely buy my album. That is such a compliment to me!
HJ: Tell us about your first single, "Sexfast in Bed." I think the concept of food and loving is a great combination!
K: Lol! Well you know we as people love food and intimacy! So why not combine the two! Robin Thicke had his song "Its In The Morning" which is similar but my approach to it was to actually talk about loving in the morning and describing it using breakfast terms! It came out great and I am getting great feedback! Thank you for purchasing it on itunes!

HJ: Hip Hop lovers are yearning for more female artists. What do you think of the state of hip hop?
K: I think that right now, hip-hop is revolving again. We are definitely in need of more female hip-hop artists in the spotlight. Niki Minaj is doing her thing right now. We just need to have more great new female hip-hop artists so when award time comes around again there will be some other competition for her! Hopefully I will be filling one of those nomination slots real soon.
HJ: Where can our readers purchase “Sexfast in Bed?” For the record, I had to download it from Itunes after I heard it. I love it!
K: That's exactly where everyone can get it! Just go to itunes, napster, eMusic, Zune, Rhapsody, Amazon mp3, etc. and look up KoSha and purchase my first single "Sexfast In Bed" feat. Rene'.
HJ: For booking purposes, how can you be contacted?
