A new company is being accused of racism after releasing some afro style sponges that are getting the attention of the public. The British company Paladone is under fire for the release of the products, featuring caricatures of Diana Ross, using her hair for a brillo pad.
Critics have accused of the company of making products that are similar to those considered derogatory toward blacks during slavery and Jim Crow.
Now, sure many people may find this offensive, but my questions is, 'Why are we producing our own line of brillo pads." The disrespect we have for ourselves is far greater than the disrespect that comes from others.
We need more producers in our community. We cannot survive being consumers only and getting mad at what others produce.

business development Well? Is it? We know cell phones are lethal weapons that when in the hands of a Black male, can cause panic and attract the business end of a policeman's gun, but is technology racist?
Bean Soup Times received this graphic which ask that very question. What do you think?
