Agnes Davis, CEO of SwimSwimSwimIsayNew York, NY--Agnes Davis, President/CEO of Swim Swim Swim I Say (www.swimswimswimisay.com) remembers clearly when the ceiling fell out in March 2009 after a wrongful termination as a Cardiovascular Perfusionist. With no check, no job lead, a television messenger appeared. Davis heard Donny Deutch on the Today Show talking about reinvention and taking life by the horns in the midst of an economic depression and living one's passion. Davis knew it was time to follow her passion, create a purposeful niche with swimming and empower Harlem residents one stroke at a time.

Swim Swim Swim I Say is the only female-owned Harlem/Upper Manhattan swimming company offering affordable prices with a Fear of Water to Loving Water Curriculum(TM). The success of the company recently garnered media attention from Black Enterprise.com (www.swimswimswimisay.com/blackEnterprise.html), the #1 web portal for African-American entrepreneurs and small business owners with a feature on Davis' two-year-old company. Davis and her team of instructors have taught over 200 toddlers, parents, students, and seniors to swim. Davis was motivated to create this company targeted primarily to young children and special needs when she read that accidental drowning was the #2 cause of child death as reported by the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). Agnes Davis declares, "It's my mission to play an integral role in empowering parents with the basic of swimming - it can save a life."

"I am a walking testament of what following your passion can do, with no where to go, I had to create a revenue stream and started thinking, "What am I good at and love to do? I love being in the water and swimming, it was at that moment Swim Swim Swim I Say was borne," says Davis.

Davis' clients are speechless as they witness their child's progress and confidence after working with Swim Swim Swim I Say. Swim Swim Swim I Say is excited about the myriad of opportunities already presented for 2012. The company recently received a contract with PS 125 -The Ralph Bunche Elementary School in Harlem for the 3rd year in a row to teach the elementary students swimming lessons.

Davis' goal is to secure a grant and offer low priced swimming lessons to the community-at-large while providing positive re-enforcement one stroke at a time. "Knowing how to swim can not only save your life in the water but out of the water and keep diabetes, cholesterol and high blood pressure at bay," sings Davis.
