Kool Rock Ski, of the legendary rap group the Fat Boys, is planning a return to the field of entertainment. The iconic rap artist is reviving his acting career after a long hiatus since starring in the block buster films Krush Groove and Disorderlies. Kool Rock is currently taking private acting lessons and has set his sights on returning to the silver screen and acting roles on television. Not only is Kool back to acting but he's also writing movie scripts, one which is based on the crack epidemic of the 1980's.

As a member of the Fat Boys, Kool Rock Ski once tipped the scales at nearly 330 pounds and is now down to an astonishing 162 pounds. The massive weight loss is the subject of a new book Kool is working on with Hip Hop Historian Sean XLG Mitchell; Wipe Out the Weight: The 10 Step Diet and Exercise Guide is slated for release this year.
In teaming with Sean XLG, Kool has penned the foreword to his book Hip Hop Hooray: Celebrating 30 Years of Rap Music scheduled to be released in May of 2011. The books are spawning plans for the first ever Fresh Fest Book Tour in which the artists hope to secure national sponsorship.
In addition to acting and writing books, the tandem of Kool Rock Ski and Sean XLG are planning to record a hip hop version of Michael Jackson's Thriller album. "Thriller 2012" will be a remake of Michael's classic songs in rap form as a tribute to the late entertainer. "We're looking to reach out to Quincy Jones and Dr. Dre as producers of the project and we have in mind collaborations with other rappers such as Kanye West, Kool Moe Dee, Queen Latifah, Slick Rick and Mele Mel and we would like to include Janet Jackson and Lauryn Hill.

This project could redefine Hip Hop as we know it", states Kool Rock Ski. Sean XLG adds, "I create songs for the mature hip hop audience so this project is ideal for my style of music, not to mention the challenge of recreating the greatest album of all time".
Damon Wimbley, best known as Kool Rock Ski and one-third of the Fat Boys, is the "dominating MC"...The Rock Man can be found in the gym where he works hard to stay slim and trim; Kool Rock is serious about his weight. Kool Rock was excited to work with Chris Rock at the MTV Music Awards and would love a chance to work with him again. Delighted to be in front of the camera as much as he is to be on the mic, Kool Rock is focused on his return to the spotlight.
Sean XLG Mitchell is the ultimate hip-hop historian. As an artist, Sean XLG is the first rapper to win a national music competition. He is the author of the book Hip Hop Hooray: Celebrating 30 Years of Rap Music.
