Robin Aikens, Professional Golfer and Instructor Uses Golf to Build Relationships with indoor instructional program to help couples start New Year off right

Sometimes you have incredible people right in your face, but you don't realize it. That's how I feel about a client whom I have done social media eblast for. I knew she was a shaker and mover, but I had no idea that she "shaked and moved" so much! 

Robin Aikens, a professional golfer, is now offering a special “Love and Golf” program that teaches golf as it relates to love and relationships.

Aikens has done big celebrity clinics for NBA superstar Dwyane Wade, NBA legend Magic Johnson, comedian, author and radio host Steve Harvey, the Chicago Urban League, and Black Enterprise Magazine, but she always wanted to do something intimate for couples.

Understanding the value of health and relationships, Aikens has created a golf program to help people learn and enjoy golf and build better relationships, all while on the golf course.

“Loving yourself and loving your mate are parallels to the game of golf,” said Aikens, a member of The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) and Teaching and Club Professional Division (T&CP Division). Aikens is only one of 10 African American female golfers in the LPGA.

Aikens developed the program based on her book, “Love and Golf: The Front Nine.” In her book—through the eyes of a golfer—Aikens teaches couples and singles how to find and follow through on their golf swing and their relationships. Attendees will receive a free autographed copy of her book, and her instructional golf DVD. The program consists of three lessons that cost $220 per couple.

Aikens has often been featured in the African American Golfers Digest that honored her in 2009 as an Outstanding Leader in Golf.
