community Radio host and entrepreneur AC Green writes his debut book that's both personal and motivational. In the book, Back2Zero: Winning Against All Odds, AC reveals how not long ago, nearly every aspect of his life was in turmoil. A failed marriage, ailing mother, business setbacks and the pending loss of his home brought on many sleepless nights. In a few short years his world went from being the mastermind behind now President Barack Obama's historic campaign slogan, "Yes We Can," to total uncertainty.
Being hit by a fledging economy like many others, AC went back to zero, reinventing himself in order to keep the life he once had and to create an even more financially stable future. In his book, AC shares how no matter who you are or where you may be in your life, loss and change are inevitable. Back 2 Zero offers tools to help readers understand that a time of loss can really be a positive. It can be an opportunity to elevate to the next level.
AC says, "My crisis put me in direct alignment to live the life I've always known was in store for me." What he didn't know is that in saving himself, he would become the catalyst to saving millions of other people and hosting a national radio show that bears his name, "The AC Green Show."
What started as a platform for him to educate listeners on the foreclosure epidemic and how to strive in a tough economy has become a national radio show, broadcasting as a rate mate to The Tom Joyner Morning Show and The Michael Baisden Show. "The AC Green Show," is a blend of music, entertainment, information and empowerment. R&B crooners Charlie Wilson and Kem, Grammy Award winning gospel sensations Kirk Franklin and Mary Mary, actress S. Epatah Merkerson and comedienne Kim Coles are just some of the friends of the show.
"Back2Zero: Winning Against All Odds, is a true extension of me. In the book, I give readers the straight forward, passionate delivery that my radio listeners enjoy and appreciate. I encourage people to fight forward and reach their highest potential, be it with their careers, finances, health or relationships." says AC.
When AC started his show, he was still in the midst of his crisis and didn't know how things were going to turnout; even then, he said and with his success he continues to say, "I will be the victor and not the victim. I am the change I want to see. Life as we once knew it will never be again. But the life we are worthy of is waiting for us to claim it."
In the last four years, Green has gone from almost losing everything to losing nothing. He openly acknowledges that he's gained much more from having gone through his personal crisis and is thankful that he now impacts the lives of so many others on radio and now from the pages of his book.
