RH School of Performing Arts (RHSPA) is hosting its 5^thAnnual Prom Fantasy Fashion Show Saturday, January 26, 2013 at the DuSable Museum in Chicago, IL.  Prom Fantasy is an opportunity for teens in the Chicagoland area to showcase exquisite gowns, couture fashions, and the latest menswear for Prom 2013.  Teen participants can qualify for monetary academic scholarships sponsored by local businesses and individuals.  Avlon Industries, a community partner for five years, will be awarding students with a total of $3,000 in scholarships. $2,000 will be awarded to a graduating senior.   

Auditions for Prom Fantasy will be Saturday, October 27, 2012 from 5pm-8pm at RHSPA, located at 1014 East 47^th Street Chicago, IL.  The cost is $5.  Ladies are required to wear high heel shoes and gentlemen required to wear hard bottom shoes. 

Rhea A. Henderson, founder of RHSPA, and Jason Wilder, RHSPA Director of Modeling and Head Choreographer for Prom Fantasy, teamed together to create memorable scenes that captivates the audience.  The models are professionally trained to learn not just the techniques and etiquette of modeling, but also learn the importance of team building skills and the power of networking.

“We work diligently to ensure that the teens have the opportunity to learn refined runway modeling skills,” stated Wilder.  “We want to teach them the importance of taking constructive criticism, developing their own sense of style, achieving academic excellence, and building self-confidence.”

RHSPA is offering a Modeling Workshop to help prepare the teens for the Prom Fantasy audition.  The workshop will take place Saturday, October 20, 2012 at RHSPA 1014 East 47^th Street Chicago, IL from 4:30pm-6:30pm. The workshop fee is $10. The workshop participants will learn modeling basics and runway techniques.  Ladies are required to wear high heel shoes and gentlemen required to wear hard bottom shoes.
