This morning I got the following not from my good friend and sister Tonja Styles. She's the CEO of Political Swagger and she's a phenomenal woman who stepped in to help a young Black male in need of support and encouragement.

Peace Everyone,
I'm sending this email this morning on behalf of Vashion Bullock, the young man you all read about in Sunday's Chicago Tribune. He is in deed undergoing a major transformation! Vashion is scheduled to graduate July 31, 2010. Muhammad University of Islam (students) in partnership with Christ Universal Temple will be embarking upon an 8-City College Tour this coming Sunday. The cost per student has been reduced to $400.00.
We are in need of assistance to help Vashion make the trip.
If you can donate $10, $20, $50 or $100 to help Vashion Bullock take part in this College Tour and luncheon at the White House (Vashion Bullock lives in the same housing project where President Obama began his political career as a community organizer in Chicago).
