Toni Braxton sues Grammy fashion designer

Archives 2001

HOLLYWOOD--Instead of singing her hit song, "He's Not Man Enough," singer Toni Braxton is finally crooning, "it's not dress enough," to Richard Tyler, the designer of the dress Toni wore to the recent Grammy Awards gala.

Though the First Lady of LaFace is known for revealing fashion wear, Toni charged Tyler with fraud March 5, after discovering she paid "full price for incomplete dress."

"I was under the impression I was paying for a partial dress, not an incomplete partial dress," said Toni, her doe-eyes fighting back tears. "I'm comfortable with revealing 95 percent of my body, but he clearly had me showing 98 percent and that's three percent too much."

Toni, who's triumphed over hardship before in her efforts to become the modern R&B soul diva, promised to bounce back again. She vowed to "never reveal more than 95 percent of my body, because after all, I've got my limits."
