Elderly woman admits to having crush on Snoop Dogg

LOS ANGELES--During a game of Bingo, an elderly woman revealed to a long-time friend that she has a crush on popular rap artist Snoop Dogg dating back to the early 90s.

It was obvious that Gertrude Brown, a 79-year-old native of Snoop's hometown, had a crush after she forgot to call bingo. Apparently Ms. Brown was distracted by a video featuring Snoop Dogg that appeared on the overhead television, said several observers.

"I realized Gertrude had bingo, but her eyes were glued to the t.v. screen. She always calls out bingo quick, but that boy, Snoopy Dogg was rapping and I could not believe it," said Maxine Overstreet. "She had that glossy eyed, teenage crush look about her, like the first time she and I saw Rudolph Valentino. It was beautiful and strange at the same time."

Ms. Brown never tried to deny the crush. "It's funny. My daughter, who lives in Oakland, was his baby sitter. I never paid much attention to him until I saw that first video he did with Dr. Dre, you know, the one who made all that music for NWA. And now I have a serious crush on Snoop Dogg. Honey, can you believe it?" said Ms. Brown from her senior residential living apartment in Long Beach, Calif. She wrote his name with a black magic maker on her wheel chair during the interview.

"He's just incredibly cute and his voice is so sexy," she added. "I remember when Snoop's father was born. He was not as cute. Matter of fact, Snoop's father looks like ten miles of bad road. I guess the pretty gene skipped a generation."

Ms. Brown, a widow, hopes to meet the famed rapper before she dies. "I already have my outfit ironed and ready," said Ms. Brown. "It's a nice red Fubu one-piece skirt with matching bandana that I got from the swap meet."
