Clerk Dorothy Brown’s Statement on President Stroger’s Meeting at Quinn Chapel
Clerk Dorothy Brown issued the following statement regarding President Stroger’s Meeting at the Quinn Chapel.
“I have the highest respect for the religious leaders of Cook County. I believe that if they are truly concerned with improving Cook County government, then they will unite behind my candidacy because I have the executive management experience, and financial background to put the County’s financial house in order. I am running to be the next President of Cook County to end the current fiscal and mismanagement crisis. I have been campaigning across the entire county, talking to all Cook County voters. Last weekend I was in the south suburbs, I was in Chinatown, and I was in Evanston. People are tired of having the Nation’s highest sales-tax and they are ready for change; for new ideas not new taxes.
I have the right experience to be Cook County President. I saved tax payers 187 million dollars in the Clerk’s office. Voters are responding to my message of reform, innovation, and fiscal responsibility. My poll numbers have been proven to be true; people are uniting behind my campaign.”
*Dorothy Brown has served as Clerk of the Circuit Court of Cook County for nine years. She is a CPA, has an MBA, and holds a law degree.
