Stroger Responds to Rep. Davis

"In his rush to swipe at me, Congressman Danny Davis made a misstep of his own and hit Judge Evans instead. Over one year ago, in an effort to make Cook County government more open, transparent and efficient, I placed the Cook County Juvenile Temporary Detention Center under the auspices of the Chief Judge's Office," said Cook County President Todd Stroger.

One thing that's for sure, the county is in better shape than Chicago and the State of Illinois, the budget is in the black and has been for the last 3yrs.
That 1 cent saved thousands of jobs, I pray that Congressman Davis stay in Congress he is on the House Ways and Means committee, a very important committee.
