Bush considers giving Iraq back to Hussein WASHINGTON--The State department depicted efforts to guard human rights in Iraq as badly hampered by a climate of "extreme violence" and by sectarian militias that often act "independently of governmental authority." For that reason, President George Bush is seriously considering "just giving Iraq back to Saddam," he said during his regular radio talk. "Look, there's lots of violence, possible civil war between the Shiites and the Sunnis," explained Bush. "It's crazy over there. We should just let Saddam deal with this mess. that would be a good punishment for him. We'll give him a new eight pack of underwear, his old rifle and a candy bar." Saddam Hussein, the former dictator of Iraq reportedly refused to "clean up the imperialist mess." Then he pointed very hard. |
